The association, pursuing only the aims of the corporate purpose, has the following aims:
"Il Filodijuta" is an apolitical, non denominational  non-profit association, and in a democratic form it pursues justice and social solidarity amongst peoples and in particular with the poorer and more disadvantaged peoples in developing countries, especially in Bangladesh.
"Il Filodijuta" aims therefore at creating, promoting and supporting, coordinating and/or managing initiatives in the areas of health, education, culture, social welfare and the economy, aimed at the poorer and more disadvantaged peoples.
